We send our condolences and prayers to the Byers and Hairston families... God is good and we ask that our Lord and Savior comfort the family at this time...

I remember Celestine as a very passionate, smart and cool sista at East Forsyth... I enjoyed being around her... She was funny and kind hearted... I had not seen her since our East Forsyth days... Celestine will be missed but God's got another sweet angel... Gone but not forgotten...

God bless...

Celestine...you will truly be missed, my Friend!
I first met Celestine in the 5th Grade at Skyland Elementary School. We remained classmates throughout school up until High School(East Forsyth) graduation. During the time, I cant remember anyone ever having an unkind thing to say about her. She was a wonderful student and cool Friend.
It was great to reconnect on Facebook. My Family and I enjoy her awesome posts (which I unofficially dubbed, "From Sal's Kitchen")on various culinary delights she had created. She was a great competitor in my occasional music challenges on Facebook. But above all of thia, he Love for her Family was always evident and admirable. Her Love of God was unquestionable.
Love and deepest condolences to her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and other Family members from the English Damily!💛
Rest in Paradise, Sal! You've built a magnificent legacy!🙏⭐

I remember Sal from Elementary, Middle, and High School. The one thing I remember the most about her is how smart she was in math. She always had the right answer to the problem. Sal was also quick on her feet. That girl could run. We gave her the nickname of "ostrich" because she had long legs and could beat anyone on the track. She was a lot of fun to be around and her prescence will be missed. I had not seen her since High School, but kept up with her on Facebook. Missed but will not be forgotten :)
