WINSTON-SALEM July 13, 2017 Gary Thomas Hester, 62, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Springwood Care in Winston-Salem. He was son of the late Horace M. Hester Sr. and Catherine Binkley Hester. He is survived by his brother Horace Hester Jr. and wife Rita of Winston-Salem. He was a member of Oak Grove Moravian Church. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Gary was always friendly but a little on the shy side. Always pushing them glasses up. He was not one of the "Cool Ones" Not inside that social circle. I once told him "Gary, if we are going to get girls we are going to have to lose those shoes and those glasses and let your hair grow out. " he said "Hows that worked for you" I said "never mind me" ...... GARY !!! you were always cool with me! Easter WM
