John was a very dear friend. Even though I moved from Winston-Salem and the pandemic has kept friends and family apart, His memory will always bring a smile to my soul. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Big John Neal was such a unique Guy! Well known among the students, always a smile and a Jokester. Taller than most everyone, John was kind and decent. I counted him as a Friend. His legacy will keep on giving. According to scripture, I will see him again.

Although I didn't know John, he always had a sweet smile and kindness in his eyes when I passed him in the school halls as well as a humorous chuckle which made me wish that I had known him as my friend!  I'm sure he is soaring with the Angels and making them smile!
