
Jeffery Allen Sweatman
Jeffery “Jeff” Allen Sweatman, 47, of Clemmons died February 23, 2002 at his home. He was born September 3, 1955, in Forsyth County, a son of Robert Monroe Sweatman and Susie Fish Sweatman Duval. He was a devoted father and loved by his friends. He loved sports and was a workaholic as a self-employed carpet installer - taking great pride in his work. He was preceded in death by a niece, Megan Sweatman, in 1988.
In addition to his parents, Robert Monroe Sweatman of Winston-Salem and Susie Duval of Kernersville, he is survived by a son, Austin Sweatman and his mother, Susie Collins; a sister, Jill Scott and husband John of Kernersville; two brothers, Robert Jay Sweatman of East Bend and Joel Gray Sweatman and wife Gina of Kernersville; three nephews, Matthew, Joseph and Brad; and a niece, Jessica.
A memorial service was held in the chapel of Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home in Kernersville with Rev. Don Winters officiating

Jeff Sides (Class Of '72)
Jeff was in a golf league I played in in the '80s. We were partnered in a tournament one weekend and won all the money. I played a small part and he played a big part in the win. He was a great golfer and nice guy.
