Debra Earwood Hinson, 69, of Snow Camp, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Mrs. Hinson was born February 15,1955 in Limestone, Maine to the late Marvin Charles Earwood and Sylvia Berube Raines. In high school, she met and married, Jimmy Thomas Holden and raised a family. In another chapter of her life, she was married for many years, to the late Garry Everette Hinson, Sr., who died tragically in a work accident in 1999. She retired from Pharmagraphics in Greensboro.

In her earlier years, she enjoyed riding and spending time with her horses and spending time with her cat she had for 13+ years, Kissy Kat. As the years moved on, her love for traveling to the beach and Lake Tillery grew. She loved camping and sitting by the campfire, an avid bird watcher and loved cuddling with her feline friends. Being a native of Maine her love of seafood could never be satisfied. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Amanda Wright (Charles) of Asheboro, Mrs. Heather McGee (Gary) of Pleasant Garden, and Miss Amber Holden of Snow Camp; grandchildren, Trey Register, Aiden Register, Makayla Wright, Tristan Wright, Katelyn McGee, Joshua McGee and Joslyn Holden; two stepsons, their wives and children, as well as, two nieces.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Myra Coleman.

The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025.
