My Internet radio ministry is heard on www.libertyliferadio.com. The program ("Sound Doctrine") changes weekly, and is heard six times daily -- at 1:30, 5:30, and 9:30 AM & PM. I'd be honored if you would listen. And, I would welcome your comments/critiques.

Tell us a little about your spouse or significant other

Although I have been engaged more than once, "out of them all, the Lord delivered me" (II Timothy 3:11).

What other towns/states have you lived in?

I went to college my freshman year at Bob Jones University, in Greenville, SC. I have lived and ministered in Fitzgerald, GA, very briefly. I have lived and either taught or ministered in Miami/Homestead, Englewood Beach/North Port, Crystal River/Homosassa, and Palm City/Port Saint Lucie, FL. I LOVE to live in Florida -- the further south, the better! I have preached and sung in an area which circles: from Santa Clara, NM; to Manistee, MI; to Red Lion, PA; to Homestead, FL; to McAllen, TX.

Words of wisdom now that we've reached the ages we are!

My dad warned me a million times: "Son, don't ever get old!" I should have heeded his instruction. It's too late, now.

I knew Sheila best from our working together at Paragon at Ogburn Station. She really loved her grandfather, Ralph Phillips, who had served as pastor of Woodland Baptist before my family started going there. That gave us automatic talking points. Sheila was full of personality and opinion. We lost contact. But, my life has been enriched by my having known and worked with her.

Alan Hutchens has left an In Memory comment for Benny Stoltz.

Benny came to East as we Union Cross brats were being dismissed to Parkland. So, we met after high school. I was privileged to record in his studio twice in the late 1990s. Benny and I were finishing an eight-CD retrospective of the ministries with which the Lord has involved me through 67 years. We were seeking a graphics artist, since the one whom Benny had always used passed away unexpectedly during the summer. I noticed that Benny was not responding to my texts. Then, I received a call from his best friend, informing me of his passing. I had seen him only a week or two earlier; and, now, he was already gone. He had seemed to be the picture of health. I hate that I missed the very last events. But, I had the very special blessing of working with Benny on several of his final projects on this side of Heaven. I miss my dear friend, and empathize with Michele in her temporary emptiness. I'm glad, because of Benny's faith, that it is temporary.

Kind, friendly, an all-around nice guy!  That's what I always thought of Robert.  Having been at East for only one year, I didn't get to know him as I might have liked.  I saw and read his obituary before I saw it posted on this site.  So sad!  I hope to see him again some day, where we can make up for lost time in a most profitable way.  Family, if I may be of any comfort at any time, please don't hesitate to contact me!  Take comfort from the Scriptures.  On those Words you can count, above all else.

I'm in love. Bobby, however, wonders what she ever did to deserve ending up being stuck with me. This was taken on July 3, 2009.

This is Bobby. She is named for my favorite animal movie, "The Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby." I watched as her Maltese father impregnated her Cockapoo mother. I watched as she was born on January 28, 2008, the runt of a litter of three. Now, she watches me. Spooky! Warning: She is a thief of the highest order. She has stolen my heart. She will steal yours, too.

Me, holding a Honduran milk snake (the most beautiful snake which I have ever seen) -- It's nonpoisonous, of course! Whenever you are near Disney World, you must stop in at the serpentarium near Saint Cloud (FL). Say hello to my snake for me, please!
