A beautiful person, a beautiful man, a beautiful life, inside and out! To say that Tony was unique doesn't quite say it. What disease did to him on the outside did not diminish him. And, perhaps strangely, I hope that when I get to Heaven one of the first things I get to do is to throw a baseball for a while with him. It just seems appropriate. Tony, you're not our fallen hero. You're our victorious warrior!

Well said Allen. Tony was a great guy who was always friendly and considerate of others. I had not seen him in years but was aware he was afflicted with some kind of disease. From reading his obituary it looks like he lived a very succesful life both personally and professionaly, that's all a person can hope for. The good guys sometimes die young. Prayers for his family.
