My goodness gracious- I didn't know she had passed away. I had wondered over the years what ever happened to Sandra. We had a great time in class together. I always admired her as she was so smart funny and such an independent thinker. I always knew she was going places...does anyone know about her family ties?
Everyone liked and admired Sandra. I remember that she would ride home from school with us in the early elementary grades at Carver. She was always a warm and giving person. The last time I saw her was during my time at NC A&T. She had changed a little but was still very giving.
Sheer elegance! That was Sandra Havner. A a very sweet and kind human being. I will cherish the words she wrote to me in my yearbook!! She was a gift to us from God!!
