Join USMC right out of high school as I had a low draft number. Went to Vietnam, survived and returned home with a disability. I was accepted by the U.S.Navy working in intelligence but later honorably discharged due to injuries from the Marine Corps. Later worked with SBI, SS and other agencies before working with the U.S.Forest Service as a Ranger patrolling on horseback at Mt. Rogers Va. After 5 years I accepted full disability and retired. I enjoyed many activities in life including becoming a Southeast U.S. Ballroom Dance Champion. Presently own a small farm and raise horses, still ride a motorcycle. I've been married 3 times and understand 1st hand how short life can be.
